Altcoins Rise as Bitcoin Reaches $71K: Uniswap, Starknet, BNB Lead the Climb

Altcoins surged on Tuesday, led by Uniswap's UNI (over 20% gain), Starknet's STRK (over 10% gain), and Binance's BNB (7% gain). This uptrend comes as Bitcoin hit a two-week high of $71,000. Seventeen out of the twenty assets in the CoinDesk 20 Index (CD20) witnessed gains, indicating a positive market sentiment.

Uniswap's rally followed a cryptic social media post hinting at an announcement, while Starknet's surge is attributed to its vision of using the network to scale Bitcoin. BNB benefited from increased activities on the Binance Launchpool and Launchpad.

Meanwhile, several bitcoin miners saw significant gains, including Core Scientific (CORZ) (40%), Marathon Digital (MARA) (5%), TeraWulf (WULF) (22%), Bitdeer (BTDR) (12%), and Hive Digital Technologies (HIVE) (8%). This surge is partly due to Core Scientific's deal with CoreWeave to host AI services.
