Bitcoin Dips Below $60K, Ethereum and Dogecoin Follow Suit, But July Holds Potential for Bullish Run, Says Trader

The cryptocurrency market experienced a significant downturn on Monday, with Bitcoin plummeting below $60,000 for the first time in weeks. Ethereum and Dogecoin also suffered losses. However, amidst the decline, some analysts remain optimistic. Coinglass data revealed that over 89,000 traders were liquidated in the past 24 hours, resulting in a total of $347.76 million in liquidations. BTC long liquidations, totaling $132.4 million, reached a two-month high. IntoThe Block data indicated a 92.1% surge in exchange netflows. Crypto chart analyst Ali Martinez pointed out that Bitcoin's daily RSI had hit oversold territory three times in the past two years, leading to subsequent price surges. He suggested that the current dip presents a "prime opportunity to buy the dip." Trader Unipcs noted that July has historically been a bullish month for crypto, with an average return of 8% and a median return of 10%. Crypto analyst Michaёl van de Poppe observed that Bitcoin's current oversold condition, driven by the Mt. Gox news, is similar to the FTX crash and August 2023 correction.
