Market Reaction
The significant drop occurred early Tuesday, with BTC losing as much as 5% before a slight recovery. The U.S. Marshals Service transferred a large amount of Bitcoin from government-linked wallets, which has unsettled traders.
Altcoins Take a Hit
Solana's SOL led the major losses, plummeting 6% and reversing previous gains, while other cryptocurrencies also showed declines. Cardano's ADA fell 5%, DOGE and BNB dropped 4%, and XRP decreased by 3%. Ether has demonstrated relative strength, only declining by 1% despite facing $97 million in net outflows from newly-launched spot ETH ETFs.
