Bitcoin ETF Outflows Amid Price Dip: A Closer Look

Bitcoin ETF outflows hit $228.2 million yesterday, indicating a shift in investor sentiment. While most funds saw outflows, BlackRock's IBIT ETF bucked the trend with $18.2 million in inflows. Fidelity's FBTC saw its second-largest single-day outflow since inception, totaling $106.4 million. Despite these outflows, the 11 funds have collectively accumulated $15.30 billion in net inflows since their launch in January. Bitcoin's price has been fluctuating, dropping almost 6.5% over the past seven days, but buying interest has increased, particularly after the dip below $67,000. Whales are accumulating Bitcoin, while miners are cashing out to cover operating costs. Analysts suggest this period of consolidation could be positive for the long-term market cycle. Bitcoin is currently trading at $67,059, with a market cap of $1.3 trillion.
