Bitcoin Holders Still Profitable Despite Recent Dip

Despite Bitcoin struggling to break above the $70,000 mark and recently falling below $64,000, data from IntoTheBlock shows that 87% of Bitcoin holders are still in profit. This is due to the majority of holders having acquired BTC at lower average prices compared to the current level. Only 11% of holders are currently at a loss.

Bitcoin's recent struggles are attributed to various factors, including miner capitulation, spot Bitcoin ETF outflows, and potential selling pressure from the German government. Miners have sold more than 30,000 BTC in June, likely due to the increased profitability from ordinal inscriptions. The German government, which seized 50,000 BTC from the pirated film site Movie2K, has recently moved a small amount of these coins to exchanges. Bitcoin analyst Willy Woo believes miner capitulation will continue to be a key downside factor in the short term. He believes Bitcoin will recover once weak miners are eliminated and hash rate recovers.

IntoTheBlock analysts see the $61.9k to $63.8k range as a potential key support area for Bitcoin. While Bitcoin's trend is currently leaning bearish, this range could provide some support and potentially signal a shift in momentum.
