Bitcoin Mining Production: Riot Platforms Up 19%, Marathon Digital Down Slightly

Bitcoin mining companies continue to adapt to the recent halving event with increased investment in infrastructure and energy procurement. Riot Platforms saw a 19% increase in bitcoin mined in June compared to May, while Bitfarms saw a 21% increase. Cipher Mining experienced a more modest 6% increase, while Marathon and Bitdeer saw slight decreases. Riot Platforms reached 22.0 EH/s of hash rate, exceeding its Q2 power target of 21.4 EH/s. Marathon, despite a small decrease in mined bitcoin, is on track to reach its target of 50 EH/s by year's end. Bitdeer, also experiencing a slight decline in mined bitcoin, is aiming to reach a hash rate of 11.8 EH/s by year's end through expansion in Texas and Norway.
