Bitcoin Price Prediction: Analyst Warns of Potential 18% Drop, Targeting $54,000

Crypto analyst Justin Bennett has issued a warning about a potential 18% decline in Bitcoin (BTC). Bennett, who has a large following on X (formerly Twitter), believes that Bitcoin's recent breakdown of the October 2023 trendline, combined with imbalances from February 26th and 27th, could push the price down to the $52,000-$54,000 range. He attributes this prediction to a lack of liquidity above the $56,500 level, indicating that the market is seeking lower price points. Bennett's analysis suggests that Bitcoin could initially drop to $60,751, then bounce to around $63,000 before finally collapsing below $54,000. This bearish outlook comes amidst a recent sell-off by Bitcoin whales, who have offloaded over $1 billion worth of Bitcoin in the past two weeks, hinting at a lack of demand growth from major holders. Despite this bearish sentiment, Bernstein analysts maintain a bullish $200,000 target for Bitcoin by the end of 2025, fueled by the potential approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs in the third or fourth quarter of this year.
