Bitcoin Whale Makes $30 Million Profit With Two Smart Trades

A Bitcoin whale trader executed two successful multi-million dollar trades by patiently accumulating Bitcoin (BTC) at lower prices and selling at higher prices. The first trade involved purchasing 718 Bitcoin between August 9 and November 2, 2023, at an average price of $29,385, and selling them between December 15 and December 18, 2023, for $41,953, resulting in a $9 million profit. The second trade saw the whale purchase 1,181 Bitcoin from February 7 to May 13 at an average price of $48,822, and sold them on May 27 and June 20 for $66,792, netting a $21.2 million profit. These profitable trades highlight the potential rewards of patient trading in the volatile cryptocurrency market, with the whale reaping a total of $30 million in profit from these two trades.
However, the overall Bitcoin market is currently facing challenges with sluggish price declines and recent ETF outflows. Despite the slow bleed, altcoins are displaying greater resilience compared to previous downturns. The stability of the ETH/BTC pair is attributed to this resilience, while the current market situation prevents altcoins from significant price increases.
