Discover the Thrilling Heist of 'LifeHack': A Screenlife Adventure at SXSW

LifeHack: A New Era in Screenlife Cinema

Firmly established in the digital age as its own genre, Screenlife films unfold entirely on computer screens. A pioneer in this medium is filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov, known for his works like Unfriended, Searching, and Missing. Now, he introduces LifeHack, a digital heist film akin to Ocean’s 11, showcasing a new generation's ability to orchestrate grand thefts without ever leaving their bedrooms.

Plot Overview

Four tech-savvy teens stumble upon a brilliant idea while watching the influencer Lindsey Heard (played by Jessica Reynolds). After overhearing her discuss her billionaire father Don Heard's Cryptocurrency dealings, they plan to hack into his wallet and seize their fortune. The twist? Lindsey wants in on the action, leading them into a massive heist from the comfort of their homes.

A Cinematic Experience

The film's execution is nothing short of spectacular. Directed by Ronan Corrigan, a promising talent from a program Bekmambetov founded, the film is packed with suspense and innovation. The cast, featuring Georgie Farmer, Yasmin Finley, and others, brings depth to their roles, making them relatable and engaging.

Technical Excellence

The editing, a collaboration between Corrigan and Aleksandr Kleksov, along with a gripping score by Liam Brown, enhances the film's tension and excitement, creating a truly immersive experience.
