In a recent episode of the X Takeover podcast, Musk stated, "I'm not going to be promoting crypto — at most, in a joking way. If you see me pumping crypto, it’s not me." Despite this, he acknowledged that he sees some merit in Bitcoin and has a soft spot for Dogecoin due to his affinity for dogs and memes.

Trump's Promises
During the conference, Trump pledged that if re-elected, he would fire SEC chair Gary Gensler, halt the U.S. from selling its Bitcoin holdings, and establish a strategic Bitcoin reserve.

Musk's Relationship with Crypto
Musk has previously distanced himself from discussions about cryptocurrency with Trump, asserting, "Pretty sure I’ve never discussed crypto with Trump." However, he remains generally supportive of crypto's potential to shift power from government to the people.

Musk, known for influencing the crypto market through his tweets, mentioned that he spends little time thinking about cryptocurrency lately. He also suggested that X posts should have community-generated notes to clarify misinformation.
