Limited Supply Fuels Demand

The limited supply of Bitcoin, capped at 21 million coins with only 1.1 million left to be mined, continues to attract investors. Since early 2023, Bitcoin has surged nearly sevenfold, and it has seen a 10-fold increase since mid-2020 and a staggering 100-fold increase since early 2017.

Comparison with Gold

In contrast, gold, which lacks the same supply constraints, increased about 20 times during the 1970s after the U.S. abandoned the gold standard and has risen nearly 10-fold since 2002.

Soaring to Infinity

The analyst suggests that Bitcoin could keep soaring “to the Moon, to Mars, and to infinity and beyond.” Global demand is further bolstered by endorsements from high-profile figures, including former U.S. President Donald Trump, which fuels the rally.

MicroStrategy's Bold Moves

The report highlights MicroStrategy’s strategy of hoarding Bitcoin, having accumulated over 331,000 Bitcoins and continually funding purchases through stock and debt offerings. While this strategy has positively impacted Bitcoin's price and MicroStrategy's stock, it raises concerns about its sustainability if Bitcoin's price stabilizes or declines.

“It is a perpetual prosperity rocket ship on course to infinity and beyond,” the analyst claims, emphasizing the cyclical nature of Bitcoin's price increase and MicroStrategy's funding strategy.
