Massive $230 Million Liquidation Hits Crypto Market as Bitcoin Dips Below $70K!

In the latest market turmoil, over $230 million in crypto positions were liquidated within 24 hours, impacting 102,073 traders. The largest single liquidation was on OKX, amounting to $5.26 million.

Liquidation Breakdown

• Bitcoin accounted for $51.25 million in liquidations, followed by Ethereum at $30.44 million. Other notable liquidations included Dogecoin and Solana, totaling $13.94 million and $11.25 million, respectively.

• The exchange with the highest liquidations was Binance, with $104.13 million, followed by OKX and Bybit at $66.12 million and $43.37 million.

Market Liquidity

Liquidity over the past day was divided between $144.53 million in long positions and $86.06 million in short positions.

According to CryptoSlate data, the crypto market capitalization is currently $2.25 trillion, with Bitcoin's dominance at 60.4%. Bitcoin trades at $68,886, which is 6% below its all-time high of $73,686.93. Notably, it has seen a 0.6% increase in the last 24 hours, with a trading volume of $34.98 billion.
