Trump's Surprising Income Streams: From Celebrity Bibles to Cryptocurrency Holdings
Donald Trump has revealed some unexpected sources of income in his recent financial disclosure ahead of the 2024 presidential election. Among these is a $300,000 royalty payment from the God Bless the USA Bible, which he promotes with the slogan, “We must make America pray again.”
Selling at $60 each, this Bible is produced by country singer Lee Greenwood and features not just the King James Bible but also the U.S. Constitution and the lyrics to Greenwood's famous song. The promotional material showcases right-wing personalities like Eric Bolling and Tomi Lahren endorsing the product.
In addition to his Bible royalties, Trump's disclosure highlights cryptocurrency holdings valued between $1 million and $5 million, specifically in Ethereum. He also reports a $7.15 million licensing agreement from NFT INT, a company connected to his digital trading cards, which depict him in various fantasy roles.
Trump's earnings include $4.5 million from a book titled Letters to Trump and over $50,000 to $100,000 from royalties on his business bestseller, The Art of the Deal. His Truth Social platform is valued at over $50 million, with Trump owning nearly 65% of its parent company.
Despite these revenues, Trump faces liabilities exceeding $100 million tied to civil lawsuits in New York, including a significant bond for a civil fraud case. The financial disclosure, which federal candidates must file annually, was submitted by Trump recently.
