Ahead of the highly anticipated Glowtime event on September 9, Apple’s YouTube channel reportedly suffered a security breach. Tech YouTuber @abhishek revealed that the channel was compromised to stream an AI-generated video featuring Apple CEO Tim Cook. In this unexpected twist, Cook appeared to be "requesting Bitcoin", adding an intriguing element to the event's lead-up.

Apple Unveils New Products

On the same day, Apple Inc. introduced the latest version of its flagship product, the iPhone 16. CEO Tim Cook emphasized that it was designed to leverage artificial intelligence from the ground up. The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus come in new colors and include a customizable Action button, previously exclusive to higher-end models. Additionally, a Camera Control button allows users to snap pictures easily.

Apple also launched the Apple Watch Series 10, which boasts a larger screen capable of detecting sleep apnea and new software to transform AirPods into hearing aids.

The 2024 Apple event, held on September 9, was expected to last around two hours and was streamed live across various platforms, including Apple’s website and YouTube channel.
